The Glyphosate Cover-Up?

You may or may not have heard that there is a trial going on right now against Monsanto about whether glyphosate is a carcinogen and caused the plaintiff’s illness.

Monsanto says that glyphosate in their Round Up products don’t contain carcinogens.  And they claim that the scientific publications state this.  However, did you know that these reports have been ghost written?  Meaning they just ask some physician who didn’t write the scientific research to sign their name to the publication and this physician gets credit for the research.

Attorney Brent Wisner says that Monsanto did a study in 1999 and that the study suggested that Roundup may cause cancer. Wisner claims Monsanto buried this study.

Carey Gillam was one of twenty-five featured speakers on The Food Revolution Summit in May 2018. She spoke about the Great Glyphosate Cover-Up. Carey Gillam is a veteran journalist, researcher, and writer with over 25 years of news industry experience focused on digging into the big business of food and agriculture. She was a former senior
correspondent for Reuters and is a current research director for U.S. Right to Know,. Carey uncovered biotech, agrichemical, and pesticide industry secrets that impact the health and safety of millions of people worldwide. Carey’s latest book, Whitewash – The Story of a Weed Killer, Cancer and the Corruption of Science.  Of course, Monsanto is not happy about her book.

Here’s a quote from Carey while she was interviewed: “No, I think you nailed it. That is certainly what we’ve seen. Now, understand the International Agency for Research on Cancer, which is part of the World Health Organization — this is leading international cancer scientists who are brought together from all around the world — these people didn’t do new research. And yes it stunned the world, and it really made quite an impact when they said that this looks like a probable human carcinogen. They classified glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen, but they were really looking at research that, to those of us who had been following this, we were well aware of this research that had been building over the years.”

There’s a quote that David Wolfe would mention at his talks: Avoid food and products that contain fungicides, pesticides, herbicides, etc.

There are several other potent ingredients in Roundup that are potential carcinogens. Glyphosate is the one most talked about right now.  And these other pesticides are on our food!

So, should glyphosate be banned and does it pose a health risk?
